Terms & Conditions

1. Excelan requires 24 hours notice for cancelation of a car or you will be liable to full charges.
2. The company can amend any material on the website, including its products, services and prices described without any notice, any such amendments as stated before will become effective immediately unless otherwise stated, the onus is placed upon the hirer to continuously take responsibility and check the company’s terms and conditions with every service undertaken.
3. A quote on a journey will be valid until 24 hours after the issue thereof.
4. Children/babies are also regarded as passengers, so please quote the correct amount of passengers when booking a vehicle.Please ensure you provide an appropriate child seat.
5. It is your responsibility when reserving a vehicle, to check that it has sufficient space and weight allowance to accommodate the luggage to be carried.We will not be held responsible for luggage that cannot be accommodated in our vehicles
6. Airport collection delays, where flight delay information has only been reported after the chauffeur has set out on his journey to the airport you will be liable to pay the fee in full
7. Any wasted journeys carried out because of error on your part i.e. incorrect incoming flight date given, shall be paid for, in full, by you.
8. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the lesser of the price or money actually received from you for the services in respect of which a claim has been made and we shall have no liability to you for loss of profits, goodwill, reputation, business contracts, revenue, production, anticipated savings, nor from losses arising from third party claims which arise in connection with the services nor any other losses or expenses and we shall have no liability to you for any indirect, special or consequential loss, damage costs or expenses including labour, or the hiring of a replacement vehicle.
9. We may subcontract, assign or transfer our obligations or rights to a competent third party or to any associated company whether in whole or part. You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or obligations without our written consent.
10. Whilst we do our best to ensure our drivers are punctual, you will understand that we cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by circumstances out of our control e.g traffic delays,weather conditions, mechanical failure/breakdown,flight disruptions or delays,strike action,
11. The driver will drive at safe and sensible speeds in accordance with road conditions, traffic and the legal speed limits.
12. Clients are responsible for any damage they cause to the interior and or exterior of a vehicle on hire to them and will be billed accordingly for any repair or valeting required in order to reinstate a vehicle to working order.
13. We may provide subcontracted vehicles.
14. If there are any changes or variations including extra mileage to the journeys other than what was agreed at the time of booking, the client will be charged extras in accordance with the pricing structure on our website.
15. We reserve the right to change your vehicle or chauffeur at any time if necessary.
16. Our Chauffeur(s) will travel by the most appropriate route on the day, unless instructed otherwise by the Customer at the time of booking.
17. Excelan vehicle(s) and sub-contracted vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third party claims. However, customer’s properties are carried entirely at their own risk and Excelan shall not be held responsible/liable for any loss/damage to such property.
18. Excelan and its chauffeurs have the right to refuse to carry any passenger who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose behaviour poses a threat either to the Chauffeur, the vehicle or any other passenger(s).
19. Excelan maintains a strict non-smoking policy in all its vehicles.
20. Online quotations do not allow for public and bank holidays like Christmas Day or New Years Eve where there may be an additional surcharge. Please indicate on the quote form if your proposed booking is for a bank holiday or on any other special date.
21. We reserve the right to change any of these terms if required.
